Having a Difficult Time ?

This teaching and prayer was the answer to a prayer request regarding someone who was facing hard times in his life and trying to get his RV roadworthy. It has been modified to be a little more generalized, and I pray that it will speak to someone.

Blessings to you

I come to you with the Joy and Love provided by the Holy Spirit – that which was given to the body of Christ at Pentecost. It is a gift given to all believers, which is readily available to us just for the asking !!  I pray that what follows will speak to you, giving you some peace and encouragement to stand strong in your trials, coming out of them victorious and in a better place than you were in before your trials started.

We are living in difficult times. More and more is being demanded of us, we are being spread thinner and thinner with seemingly fewer resources. We seek to serve the Lord and ask Him to reveal His will for us. We know that the word tells us to not focus on our circumstances, and to keep our eyes on the Lord, for He will lead the way. He will show us where to go. He will make our path straight.

We are told to count all trials as joy!  Why: because it is an opportunity. It is not a punishment; it is not something to “just get through.”  It may not even be a distraction but something to endure that has a purpose. The enemy may be harassing you but know that God is there and has a plan for you. The enemy thought he was defeating Jesus when he was being persecuted and sent to the cross. The tables were turned and His crucifixion became victory over death and forgiveness of sin! Although Jesus asked that He not have to drink of “that cup,” He never lost sight of the Father.

The opportunity given to us is to show our devotion, trust and faith in our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!  James 1 tells us that the testing of our faith produces patience, and patience produces perfection. Through your trials, you are given the opportunity to become perfect, lacking in nothing. Use the opportunity of trials to grow in Christ. Don’t waste the suffering you are enduring.

Father God, I lift up whomever is reading this, as he (she) is a son(daughter) of yours, that you give him (her) the strength and fortitude to serve you during these difficult times, that you make him (her) strong in his (her) time of weakness. That he (she) hear your voice loudly and clearly over that of the voice of the enemy whose goal is to blind us to God’s truth. I pray that the person reading this turn a deaf ear to whispers of doubt, despair, hopelessness, discord and criticism. I pray that You show him (her) the way to resolve the issues with his (her) RV, that You send just the right people at the right time to assist him and accomplish the necessary repairs, and that You, through Your love and compassion, heal and repair even those items that seem to defy troubleshooting and the knowledge of man.

The people who attend our rallies are a wealth of information on RV maintenance and living the RV life in the service of our Lord. I highly recommend you attend a rally or 2 to be among likeminded people who can help you walk through some of the logistics,  but also lay on hands and pray for you.  I would suggest you pray, while sitting in the RV, and dedicate your RV, and the time you plan to spend in it, to our Lord & Savior, following the instructions given to us in Matt 9, 16;   John 4, 9, 14; Luke 9, 10; Matthew 28; Acts 1 and Cron 15.

I and the rest of the leadership of Campers For Christ pray for your freedom and release from the bondage of your trials and tribulations.

In His Service
